Two Dialogic employees recently earned the prestigious WebRTC Pioneer Award for their unique contributions to the growth and evolution of WebRTC. Both Andrew Goldberg, senior vice president of strategy and marketing, and Jim Machi, vice president of product management, were among those honored by TMCnet, Systemwide Media and PKE Consulting.
“The WebRTC Pioneer Awards recognize the people that have been driving WebRTC and the webification of communications,” said Phil Edholm, event producer of PKE Consulting. “Each of the Pioneers made a unique contribution to the growth and evolution of WebRTC.”
The WebRTC Pioneer Award ceremony took place at the WebRTC World Conference & Expo, just days after Dialogic announced more than 90 WebRTC engagements across telcos, contact centers and enterprises. As part of that announcement, our CEO Kevin Cook captured Dialogic’s pioneering role in developing server-side media processing solutions: “As WebRTC matures beyond an interesting technology to a business-useful one, our PowerMedia XMS media server is providing sophisticated, production-ready applications and services from the doctor’s office to financial trading floors.”
Kevin also spoke broadly during his WebRTC Expo keynote about how WebRTC will change the way we communicate (you can catch the video here.
